The Fire Marshal’s Office Investigations Unit consists of highly trained, Georgia certified fire investigators whose mission is to investigate the crime of arson and pursue persons who commit this crime.  Utilizing innovative techniques, our investigators can pinpoint a fire’s area of origin and the method used to ignite that fire.  Fire investigators work in conjunction with CCPD Criminal Investigations Division, CCSO Fugitive Unit, and private and state laboratories.
