Technical Rescue
The mission of the Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services Technical Rescue Team (TRT) is to manage and coordinate life-saving efforts in the search, extrication, and safe-guarding of trapped victims during natural and man-made accidents and disasters. Team members have been trained to the technician level in four specific areas that include rope, confined space, trench and structural collapse. They operate as part of the Georgia Search and Rescue (GSAR) task force 7 out of Station 13.
