Equipment Maintenance



THE EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN OF LOGISTICS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FIRE/EMS EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE WHICH INCLUDES:
Tracking, repairing and/or coordinating the yearly servicing of the following equipment:
- Fire Hose
- Nozzles
- Amkus Extrication Equipment
- Aerial/Ground Ladders
- Lifepak and Automatic External Defibrillators
Manages and oversees the CCFES’s SCOTT Air-Pak 50/75 Authorized In-House Repair Center for SCBA maintenance, repair & yearly testing
Perform quarterly On-Site Inspection/Maintenance on SCBA and fire nozzles
Tracking and managing issues/concerns reported daily through Operative IQ pertaining to the responsibilities above
Prepare and complete various forms, work orders, reports and departmental designed spreadsheets for internal tracking
